Robotics, Autonomous Systems and Controls
We work to enable autonomous and adaptive behaviors in robots and intelligent systems. This work integrates AI and control theory to ensure that robots can operate safely and efficiently in complex and uncertain environments. Research topics include: learning-based control, safety-critical control and control of legged and humanoid robots – all with the goal of establishing a foundation for next-generation intelligent robotic systems. This work ultimately contributes to advancing autonomous robotics and mechanical systems for applications in defense, manufacturing, healthcare and disaster response.
