The MAE Career Fair connects industry experts and recruiters with NC State’s exceptional undergraduate and graduate students. This event offers students the chance to explore internships, co-ops and full-time opportunities with top companies in aerospace, energy, automotive, defense and beyond.

Student Information

Employers at the MAE career fair are looking for students in both Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs for co-ops, internships and employment.

Registration is not required for students to attend the MAE career fair. You will be asked to check in when you arrive.

We highly recommend you review the employer information available on Career Fair Plus and upload your resume into ePack.

Before the career fair, all students can meet with the Career Development Center for resume reviews, interview prep, and advise on interacting with employers. You can schedule an appointment or take advantage of their drop in hours.

Graduate students can also meet with the MAE Graduate Career Counselor for graduate specific assistance.

Parking and Transportation:

• Wolfline route 43 has stops on Centennial Campus and will take you near McKimmon. 
• Students are permitted to park at the McKimmon visitor parking lot as long as spots are available. We do expect the lot to fill. 

Be on the lookout for multiple employer info sessions as well as booths located in the EB3 2nd floor atrium area throughout the week of September 7th.

Employer Information

Employer Registration is now closed for MAE’s Fall 2026 departmental career fair on September 11th, 2026. Registration for the 2027 Spring career fair will open soon. Registration options are available for employers of all sizes.

The MAE Career Fair allows employers to target students who specifically have, or are pursuing, mechanical and aerospace degrees.

More than 630 mechanical and aerospace students attended last fall semester’s career fair, the department’s first! We have excellent students who are eager to meet with employers for co-ops, internships and employment.
