The MAE Career Fair connects industry experts and recruiters with NC State’s exceptional undergraduate and graduate students. This event offers students the chance to explore internships, co-ops and full-time opportunities with top companies in aerospace, energy, automotive, defense and beyond.

Student Information

Employers at this career fair are looking for students in both Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs for co-ops, internships and employment.

Registration is recommended but not required. Registered students will receive follow-up information, preparation opportunities and will be entered into a raffle for swag.

Parking:

• Wolfline routes 41 and 43 have stops on Centennial Campus and will take you near McKimmon. 
• Students are permitted to park at the McKimmon visitor parking lot as long as spots are available. We do expect the lot to fill.

Employer Registration is open for MAE’s Fall 2026 departmental career fair on September 11th, 2026. Registration options are available for employers of all sizes.

The MAE Career Fair allows employers to target students who specifically have, or are pursuing, mechanical and aerospace degrees.

More than 630 mechanical and aerospace students attended last fall semester’s career fair, the department’s first! We have excellent students who are eager to meet with employers for co-ops, internships and employment.
