The new dean

Pfaendtner comes to NC State University from the University of Washington (UW), where he served most recently as chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering (CHE) and the Steven R. and Connie R. Rogel Endowed Professor. He succeeds Louis Martin-Vega, who led the College for 17 years before stepping down as dean in summer 2023.

2024 NC Space Symposium Accepting Student Abstracts

Students from across the state are invited to present their research findings at the North Carolina Space Symposium: Explore Earth and Beyond, to be held in Raleigh on March 22, 2024 by North Carolina Space Grant. Students must submit their research abstracts by the deadline January 26, 2024, to present a poster.
