Tommy

Certified Therapy Dog

Tommy is a certified therapy dog who works alongside his owner and MAE Teaching Professor, Greg Watkins, as part of a certified therapy dog team. Unlike Emotional Support or Service Animals, Tommy’s role is to provide a supportive and comforting presence for anyone in need, whether it’s a quick head scratch or a few minutes of cuddling.

Tommy will be visiting periodically throughout the year, often coinciding with gatherings of the Free Moms group and the Therapy Dogs at Hunt events. While they don’t attend every month, they participate in most sessions. After these group times, you can often find them in Greg’s office in EB3, where Tommy is always happy to welcome visitors.

Whenever Tommy is in, a sign will be posted on the door, letting everyone know it’s a perfect time for some doggy time. Tommy adores everyone and is here to help brighten your day. Whether you’re a student, faculty member, or just someone in need of a furry friend, Tommy is here for you!
