  • MAE students are permitted to use one 3-credit non-MAE engineering elective course to satisfy a technical elective requirement. Examples of elective courses that have been permitted include ISE 316 Manufacturing Engineering I Processes (has required co-req of ISE 315), ISE 417 – Database Applications in Industrial & Systems Engineering, NE 419 Intro to Nuclear Energy, CE 497 CE Special Topics (various), CSC 316 Data Structures and Algorithms and CSC/MA 427 Intro to Numerical  Analysis 1, E 304 Intro to Nano Science and Technology. Other engineering electives may be approved upon request to the MAE academic advisor. (Note: Students are obligated to have the necessary requisites for non-MAE engineering courses unless waived by the offering department.)
