Continuing with our Women’s History Month celebration of the awesome ladies at MAE, next up is Administrative Support Specialist Madalene Adams!
Madalene was born in Georgia but considers North Carolina her home. Madalene graduated from Meredith College with a degree in mathematics and a minor in religious and ethical studies. She worked at the Office of the Dean of Students during her time at Meredith and has been with MAE since May 2021 as the Administrative Support Specialist. Along with a variety of other tasks, Madalene greets and directs visitors, students, faculty, and staff to different resources within MAE and throughout the university. In addition to Georgia and North Carolina, Madalene has lived in New Hampshire and Tennessee.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking and ice cream making! She also has a new beta fish named Theodore.
