Continuing with our Women’s History Month celebration of the awesome ladies at MAE, next up is Dr. Cheryl Xu!
Dr. Cheryl Xu is an associate professor at MAE and she researches advanced manufacturing of multifunctional materials, sensor design and manufacturing in harsh environments, process optimization, sensor-based health monitoring and control through artificial intelligence (AI). Dr. Xu is active in conducting research in the field of materials processing and advanced manufacturing and has attracted a high level of research funding.
Outside of work, Dr. Xu likes to collect and play brain teaser games. She is a coffee lover and she enjoys finding new great coffee to try.
