As a member of the Engineering and Maintenance Team this position will have an opportunity to work with a world class Nonwovens company, in a manufacturing environment, and be responsible for helping the Engineering & Maintenance Group maintain, improve, and expand the plant and physical facilities to meet or exceed customer requirements. This job represents an excellent opportunity for an Engineer who wants to do it all – Project Management, Installations, Upgrades, and Trouble Shooting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plan, Manage, and Implement projects of various size and scope to included but not limited to engineering studies, specifications, cost estimating, start-ups, and employee training
Provide design and project management support to the Engineering and Maintenance Team
Become a valued team member that helps lead the Spunlaid-NA Division towards a lean manufacturing culture with the proper application of technology
Support all company safety objectives through modification or redesign of equipment
Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD and/or Inventor software
Support all company activities around the establishment of our new Face Mask Production Facility.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
B.S. in Engineering from a 4-year accredited school or in the process of obtaining one
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lead, manage, and participate in projects of various size and scope including ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
Ability to coordinate with people in cross functional areas, and adapt to rapid change
Working knowledge of available technical resources dealing in Nonwovens fabrics and or related fields
Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD
Good written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented and responsive to customer needs
