Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, NC State University
Dr. Xu leads research at the intersection of multifunctional materials, advanced manufacturing, high-temperature wireless sensing, and artificial intelligence. Her work advances the fundamental science while maintaining a clear line of sight to engineering systems, industrial translation, and national needs.
