The current research focus stems from hydroforming, forging, stamping, to ultrasonic assisted forming. Most of these processes are studied at the micro, meso and macro scale levels. As part of metal forming process design optimization, AMT_Lab is heavily involved in studying tribological phenomena occurring within the metal forming tribopairs.
