Xiangming and MyoMech received 3rd place in the 2025 VenturePack Challenge’s Daugherty Endowment Track. The annual competition, hosted by NC State Entrepreneurship, showcases high-impact, university-affiliated startups advancing technologies with strong commercialization potential.
The team’s project, a Wearable Ultrasound-Guided Afferent Stimulation Sleeve for Tremor Suppression, integrates body-conformable ultrasound sensors and stimulation electrodes into a textile-based, non-invasive wearable. Designed for real-time, on-demand tremor management, this innovation offers a promising, patient-friendly alternative for treating movement disorders such as Essential Tremor and Parkinson’s disease.
Their proposal stood out among finalists and was awarded a $10,000 prize to further support product development and commercialization.
